These 2 shelters were placed in Sargent, NE for a small housing authority. The customer ordered in 8×8 and 8×10, two different sizes to accommodate their shelter needs. Shelters were painted to match other buildings and required a crane to set in place. We build shelters 4’ x 4’ to 100’ x 100’, for occupancy of one person to several hundred people. All components used in our shelters have been tested at Texas Tech Wind Science and Debris testing and have passed impact testing for F5 or winds in excess of 250 mph. All materials used were tested at National Storm Shelter Association. The project was done in 100 plus degree weather with a 31 day deadline. 31 storm shelters in 31 days.
